IMMACULATE CONCEPTION BULLETIN
July 27, 1997
FRIAR'S MIND
Sue Steidel was general chairman of the Parish Picnic
this year, her second year in a row. She is now on a well-
deserved vacation. Helping her were many of the same people
who have shown up year after year. And this year, there
were some new faces among the leaders and workers.
We owe these people an enormous debt of gratitude for
their dedication and hard work. Without them there would be
no annual picnic. The picnic brings in needed money and
helps foster community spirit in the parish. Working and
relaxing together helps us realize that we are members of
one family in the Lord.
These people do their work for the good of all of us
and God's glory, not for personal gain or credit. But they
deserve our thanks. So we tell them all: we appreciate you
very much!
