FRIAR'S MIND

This past week you received a letter from Archbishop Justin Rigali asking you to make gift to the Archdiocesan Endowment Campaign, Returning God's Gifts, Sharing our Hope.

In the near future one of our parish campaign volunteers will be contacting you for your response to his request. Please consider the following when you are contacted.

Be gracious to the volunteer visitor. Our volunteers have generously given of their time to meet this challenge. Wouldn't it be nice if parishioners would thank them for what they are doing?

Make a gift.
It should be important to every Catholic to be part of this archdiocesan wide effort for the future of the church in St. Louis. The real issue is not what you give, but that you do make a gift to endorse the work of the church.

Your pledge is over three years.
We all make time-payments on things we consider important but cannot manage at the present moment - mortgages, car payments, insurance. A pledge of $2,000.00 over three years is about $50.00 a month; $12.00 a week; $1.75 a day.

Our parish goal for this campaign is $200,471.00. We can meet our goal if everyone does his or her part. This is an opportunity to make a difference for the future. Your gift to the Archdiocesan Endowment will continue to give forever. It is difficult to imagine a better way to give and do good.

Frs. Earl & Gilmary

CATHOLIC COMMUNICATIONS CAMPAIGN

Dear Friends in Christ,
The Catholic Communications Campaign enables us to reach millions of people by providing resources for religious programming on television and radio, as well as religious educational material in print, audio and video formats.
This weekend you are invited to support this vital work of evangelization. One half of the collection is for programs here in St. Louis; the other half for national initiatives.
Your gift will assist the Church in proclaiming Jesus Christ through the power of His Word.
Most Rev. Justin Rigali

Archbishop of St. Louis
