IMMACULATE CONCEPTION BULLETIN
December 7, 1997
FRIAR'S MIND
Tomorrow we celebrate the feast of the Immaculate
Conception. It's a great feast for the entire Church, but
very special for us, our paternal feast. So as we honor the
sinless mother of the Lord, we also reflect on our parish.
This is a special time for our parish, a time of
transition and adjustment. Ever since the centenary
celebration of the church, we have been working toward a new
parish center. By now we all know what an enormous project
it is. A committee has been meeting regularly to carefully
plan every detail and to make necessary decisions. This
committee deserves our gratitude and support.
Everyone of us is a part of this long-term project.
When you put your money into something like this, you're in.
So it is a commitment made by all of us. When the building
is finally built, it will have so many functions that it
will benefit all of us.
Being committed to a material building reminds us that
we are likewise committed to building up the parish family,
the people who comprise our community. This parish is lucky
to have generous volunteers in so many different areas of
work and service. Each one contributes in a special way.
May the prayers of Immaculate Mary bring a blessing
upon each one of them. May our parish and all of our
families always be in Mary's care.
Frs. Earl & Gilmary

PUT I.C. TOMORROW ON YOUR CHRISTMAS LIST
If you are looking for a good cause to support this season
of giving, our new parish center is an investment in the

opportunity to make a generous gift. Our new parish center
