Parish Project
We are getting very close lo the completion of a huge parish project. A couple of weeks ago we liad the asbestos tile taken out of the cafeteria. After they finished that 3-day process tlien "our men took over". Lee Mautz, Harry Henderson, Ollie Dahmer, Joe Orlando, Bruce Brown, Mark Hoffman, Scott Meierotto, Mike Taylor and our maintenance inan Korky Buhr laid a new tile floor for our cafeleria. The work is nearing completion and soon our tables and cliairs and pews will be returned lo die cafeteria. 1 want lo thank al] of these men for the hours and hours that they donated lo improve their Parish. We are so fortunate at Our Lady of Guadalupe to have so many men and women who care enough lo take ownership of their Parish. Some people just sit on the sidelincs and talk (and/or criticize) wiüiout ever putting themselves into the mix. But Our Lady of Guadalupe has so many people jump in lo make their Parish a better place lo pray, work and play.
I thank everyone who contributes in anyway lo Our Lady of Guadalupe. And I invite those who haven't taken "the step” to join us. It's a great feeling to be involved in a project for God and for his people. Listen to your heart.

"As we tinker with the beginning, the end and even the intimate cell structure of life, we tinker with our own identity as a free nation dedicated to the dignity of the human person. When American political life becomes an experiment on people rather than for and by them, it will no longer be worth conducting. We are arguably moving closer to that day. Today, when the inviolable fights of the human person are proclaimed and the value of life publicly affirmed, the most basic human fight, *the right to life, is being denied or trampled upon, especially at die more significant moments of existence. die moment of birth and the moment of death' (Pope John Paul 11, the Gospel of Life [Evangelium Vitae], 18)" (US Bishops, Living the Gospel of Life, 1998. n.4).
DE N NUESTRO ESTRO PARROCO ...........................
Proyectos Parroquiales
