The Selinger Centre, a multi-purpose building for church, school, and civic functions, also constructed during the pastorate of Msgr. Selinger, was built in 1937 at a cost of $60,000. It was designed by John Schaper. Upon completion its use was constant and varied. Many, many `good times' were had by the youth in the `Haven' upstairs. Eventually the center came to be thought of as The Selinger Catholic Culture Centre.
