BOARD OF EDUCATION
- A consultative body to the Pastoral Team responsible for making
policy for all parish educational programs. The education programs
include the elementary school, the parish school of religion, the
Catechumenate, adult religious education, youth ministry and other
formal educational activities.

HALLOWAY EARLY CHILDHOOD CENTER
- The Halloway Early Childhood Center is a pre-school program for
children ages 3 and 4. The program encourages children to be active
learners who plan, carry out and reflect on daily activities. They are
also encouraged to ask questions, solve problems and engage in active
play and experiences that help them make positive choices and solve
problems. The Halloway Center operates on a 12 month calendar.

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
- Our Lady of the Presentation Elementary School serves children
Kindergarten through Grade 8. It was the first Catholic school in the
state of Missouri to adopt an "extended learning" (sometimes called
"year round"] calendar. Students attend classes from the beginning of
August until mid-June with two week "Intercessions" ("breaks"] in
October, Christmas, and March. The educational program places great
emphasis upon state-of-the-art computer technology using a school wide
computer network. The school is accredited through the National
Association of Accreditation of Non-Public Schools.

OUR LADY OF THE PRESENTATION CHILD CARE - Our Lady of the Presentation provides
before and after school child care on the
Elementary School grounds beginning at 7:00
AM and concluding at 6:00 PM on days the
Elementary School is in session. During times
when the Elementary School is not in session
(Intercessions, the Summer Break, snow days,
and specified holidays] all day child care
is provided.

PARISH SCHOOL OF RELIGION
- Our Lady of the Presentation Parish School of Religion is a faith
development program for Elementary and Jr. High age students attending
public schools. The program is designed to help children, through
study, prayer and service, become informed practitioners of their
faith. The Parish School of Religion meets on Sundays, September
through May, from 10:00-11:15 AM.

BAPTISMAL PREPARATION
- Parishioners assist in quarterly preparation meetings for parents and
godparents seeking the Sacrament of Baptism for their child.

YOUTH MINISTRY (AGES 14-18) -
A group which organizes social, prayer and service opportunities for
the high school students of our community. This organization is
currently in formation.
