Our Parish Nurse serves as:
  • Health Counselor

Meets one to one with members to discuss a variety

of health issues all the while making the link that faith 

and health go hand in hand.
  • Health Educator

Promotes health/wellness education through a Newsletter

and individual or group contacts. Conducts routine blood pressure 

monitoring and health screenings.
  • Health Advocate/Liaison

Speaks out on behalf of members and helps to connect them 

with needed resources in the church and community.
  • Pastoral Care Minister

Serves as a valuable member of the pastoral care team by 

regularly visiting church members in the hospitals, nursing homes 

and private homes. 
  • Volunteer Coordinator

Recruits volunteers in the church to assist fellow members in need 

by providing meals, transportation or friendly visits.
