Boy Scouts
Boy Scouts instill leadership, tempered with responsibility, independence and self-esteem in our youth. Outdoor activities are an important scouting activity. Hiking, overnight campouts and an annual two-week summer camp are just a few of the exciting programs. The scouting merit badge program gives the scout the opportunity to learn new skills and to grow in the scouting experience, while preparing him with leadership skills. The scouting adventure begins in the 6th grade and continues into a young man's future.

Cub Scouts
Cub Scouts is a national organization for boys from the 2nd through 5th grades. Cub Scouts are divided into dens according to grade. In their den meetings boys fulfill requirements in order to advance in rank. Fifth grade Cubs, known as Webelos, are prepared through their activities for their transition in Boy Scouts. Cub Scouting teaches duty to God and country, service to others and the development of each boy's potential.

For information call Len Kissel at 849-3854.

Girl Scouts/Brownies
Girl Scouts is a national youth program that contributes to steering girls in a positive direction. While sharing in songs, crafts and many outdoor activities, they learn to serve God and their country as well as to respect and help others. The program is divided into age levels:
Brownies (grades 1 - 3)
Juniors (grades 4-6)
Cadettes (grades 7 & 8)
