In your charity, please pray for the repose of the soul of VERNON THOMAS, son of Helen Thomas and brother of Dorothea Colby. May his soul rest in peace.

CAMPAIGN WILL PROVIDE FOR CATHOLIC EDUCATION
In the previous two weeks, you have begun to hear and read about our parish's participation in Returning God's Gifts, a campaign to provide for the financial future of the Archdiocese of St. Louis. A major benefit of the Returning God's Gift campaign will be the dedication of $15,000,000 in endowment principal to help ensure that Catholic education is available to our children. An endowment of $10,000,000 will be devoted for tuition assistance grants to help Catholic parents who could not otherwise send their children to archdiocesan, regional and parochial high schools and parish elementary schools. An additional $5,000,000 in endowment funding will be set aside for facility and program needs at our archdiocesan, regional and parochial high schools.

BINGO

Come out! Come out! Our prizes and games are called some of the best in the area. Our parish is working very hard to bring off nice evenings. Please support the parish in this way if you like the games or would like to try. At Kolping House, Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. Lighted parking and security.

SCHOOL SUPPLIES NEEDED! With August already upon us, the children already have gone back to school and they must include supplies on their shopping list. This can become quiet costly. We hope you'll have help to defray their expenses. Following is a parish list of our supplies needed for our school children. 1st composition notebook, crayons 16-24 box, pkg. Of #2 pencils, 12" centimeter ruler, red pens or pencils, folders any color, 3 subject notebook in yellow, wide rule loose paper, colored markers - thick or thin, Elmers glue, small no glue sticks, blue and black erasable pens, yellow highlighter pens, child size blunt end scissors, spiral notebook in green, red, blue, purple and pink. Please drop in red wagon in church or bring to parish help office and we will forward to Sr. Louise.
GROCERY CARTS: We are in need of several grocery carts for our elderly and disabled clients, can you help?
CRITICAL STAGE: We have reached an all time low in our food supplies. The Food Bank has very limited items to buy and donations in the wagon have dropped off this summer. If we have to spend money to buy food wholesale we cannot assist our clients with utilities and rent.
