The zones are needed for safety and visibility at all times. Please observe these zones; the police will be ticketing them.

RETURNING GOD'S GIFTS

Earlier this week, our returning God's Gifts visitors met to report on the progress of our campaign. To date, we have received $73,685.00 in pledges. Please continue to welcome our visitors as they come out to spread the message of Returning God's Gifts.

TODAY-All those who did not receive a phone call or home visit to respond to the Archbishop's letter, please come to the church foyer after Mass. A campaign worker will help you fill out your pledge.

from the Pastor's Pen

We have been glad to have Fr. Jim with us since February. It seems like a very short time, now that he has been assigned to All Saints Parish in St. Peters. He knew, however, as did we, that his time here at Resurrection would not be a lengthy one. We knew our parish did not warrant two full-time associates (almost none do today.) We were asked to welcome him back into a parish setting, and to help him prepare himself for full-time service as a needed associate. I'm proud of our parish for doing its job in this. Fr. Jim has brought us great gifts and warmth in his time here; sharing in these gifts is great, parting from them so soon is difficult. Now he is ready and willing for an assignment where he will be fully utilized. Take the chance in the visiting time after 11 a.m. Mass today, or by a card or note, to express your appreciation and good wishes.

And what of us left behind? What is our attitude about what we have, who we have to go on with? More on this next week!
