Music Ministry. This ministry is vital to the worthy celebration of Liturgy. Rehearsals are held weekly (and more often in preparation for the major feasts). Anyone with a love for music and singing is welcome to join as a member of the choir or handbell ringers; if you play an instrument you are welcome and encouraged to share your gift with the parish. Even if you cannot commit to singing or playing regularly, consider offering to participate for special occasions or (a) liturgical season(s), e.g. Advent, Christmas, Lent, Triduum, or Easter.

Pastoral Council. This is the primary advisory body to the Pastor in matters of a pastoral nature. Terms are for a period of three years. Meetings are held monthly.

Finance Council. This is the primary advisory body to the Pastor in matters of a financial or temporal nature. Meetings are quarterly or as necessary. Members of the Council are expected to count the Sunday collection one Sunday per month. Those with fiscal expertise are invited to consider this service to the parish.

Liturgy Committee. This group would meet regularly with the Director of Liturgy and Music to plan the liturgical seasons. Always based on the reflection of Scripture, gifts that would be most helpful would be a desire to understand the liturgical prayer of the Church, music, art and environment, and a sincere desire to deepen one=s spiritual life.

Welcoming Committee. Those who serve on this committee would visit the homes of new parishioners and provide them with the necessary information for them to become active members of St. Jerome. A training session will be provided.
