Bereavement Ministry. Monthly meetings are offered by certified grief counselors for parishioners and others who are in the grief process. Assistance is needed to provide hospitality and support.

Parish School of Religion. Catechists (teachers), substitutes, coordinators, and babysitters are always needed for the proper functioning of this vital service to our young parishioners.

St. John Neumann School Board. These four parishioners serve for three years, assisting the pastors and principal in determining policy for the parish school. Meetings are held on the first Monday of each month.

Sunday School. Held during the 10:30 a.m. Mass on Sundays, this program for pre-schoolers needs coordinators and aides.

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. This ancient process of conversion invites those with a deep love of the Church to serve as catechists (teachers), dismissal ministers, and sponsors. The R.C.I.A. meets the needs of children (from about age 6) through adults who wish to be fully initiated into the Catholic Church.

Nursery. A nursery is provided during the weekend Masses, during parish meetings and other parish events. Babysitters are needed for weekdays and weekends, mornings and evenings.

Parish Meals. Assistance is needed to set up, serve and clean-up after Parish Pot-Luck Dinners, Funeral Luncheons and other special events. Parishioners are needed to prepare dishes for Funeral Luncheons as well.

Transportation Services. Sometimes parishioners desire to participate more fully in the life of the parish but are unable to because of transportation difficulties. Volunteers are needed to provide this service especially to our elderly.
