Rev. Edward F. Steiner- Pastor

Fr. Ed, a native of Chattanooga, TN, attended Notre Dame High School in Chattanooga, and went on to attend college at St. Meinrad College Seminary in southern Indiana, completing his graduate studies in The Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome and at the Catholic University of America in Washington, D. C. Ordained a priest May 28, 1982, he was assigned as Associate Pastor of Holy Rosary Church in Nashville and to teach at Father Ryan High School where he eventually served as the Interim principal and then the Associate Principal. He also served as the Director of Camp Marymount, our diocesan summer camp, for several years. In July, 1991, he was named as Pastor of Saint Joseph Church in Madison (Nashville) where he remained until being assigned to Immaculate Conception in September 2003. Fr. Ed also serves as the Director of Continuing Education for Clergy for the diocese, Chairman of the priests' Benefit Foundation, and on the Diocesan Presbyteral Council as Vice Chair. He has two younger sisters, both married with children. Their families and his mother reside in the Tampa area of Florida..

Helen Hock - Director of Music & Liturgy

Helen, a native of St. Louis, has lived in Clarksville on and off since 1961. She and her husband, Norbert, have three daughters and three grandchildren. Having studied music in St. Louis & Germany, she is an active member of the Teacher Division of the American College of Musicians - NGPT, NFMC, a DMMD member of NPM & a member of AGO. She directed Music & Liturgy in Texas and Germany prior to her working with I.C. music as a volunteer from Jan. '71 until 1981 when she became Director of Music and Liturgy. Helen is also a member of the Diocesan Liturgical Commission.

Dominick Azzara - Director of Religious Education

Dominick, a native of Brooklyn, has a B.S. degree from APSU. He served as an Army officer and as an administrator of various Social Service agencies before joining the I.C. staff in 1989. Dominick was commissioned as Lay Pastoral Minister in 1988. Dominick was ordained to the Dicaconate in 1999. He and his wife, Regina, have three sons.

James McGarry - Newman House Dir. & Adult Education Co-ordinator.

James, a native of the United Kingdom, has a B.Ed in English & Drama and taught in a Benedictine Boarding School. He then studied at the Gregorian University in Rome obtaining a Ph.B. For the last 10 years he has taught English & Philosophy at Marymont International School in Rome. He moved to Clarksville in August of 1995.

Cathi Schacht - Youth Minister

Cathi, a native of Florida, has lived in Clarksville with her husband, Jim & their two children for nine years. She has an Associate degree for Arts from Brevard College & was in the Exceptional Education Program at the University of Central Florida. She volunteered as Youth Minister for four years before being hired in 1997. She is working on her Youth Ministry Certificate at this time.

Kathy Forgays- Accounts Manager

Kathy was born at Langley A.F.B. in Virginia and moved to Clarksville in 1968. She received her A.S. Degree in Accounting from Miller-Motte Business College and joined Immaculate Conception staff in April 2002. Kathy has one son.
