SJN's Bereavement Ministry + A permanent double-engrossed brick honoring the deaths of infants and children - as a 25th anniversary memorial for St. John Neumann parish - has been purchased by the Bereavement Ministry. It was placed in “Our Children’s Memorial Walkway” at Frazier Park on December 7, 2002. THE BEREAVEMENT TEAM LEADERS for 2002- 2003: Fr. Thom and Rev. Joe Mack (Pastoral Care); Red Kenny and the Service Commission (Family Life) for funeral receptions); Genita Raeker (Hospitality); Santina Wagner and Penny Breslin (Phone Calls); Marlene Zimmerman (Recording Secretary); Elsie Supernault (Condolence Secretary); Mary Fredenberg, Ginny Szura and Red Kenny (Support Group Faciliators). The Director and Group Leader position is currently vacant. The Bereavement Ministry can be contacted via email at sjncc@catholic.org.
