You’re Invited to Help Compile a Diocesan History
Mr. John Glover, a professional photographer, will be visiting and photographing every church in the Diocese of Charlotte over the next few weeks. Mr. Glover is working with the diocese on a commemorative book that will be available in late 2006. Essays and poems from the clergy, the religious and the faithful are being sought for this book. A SPANISH MASS is said at 2 p.m. every Sunday at St. Vincent de Paul Church. The

STRENGTHEN HEALTHY MARRIAGES — A Biblically based marriage enrichment workshop

SENIORS’ RETREAT — The annual Fall Day of Reflection for Seniors will

NEW PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN — Catholic Social Services, in partnership with Smart Start of Mecklenburg County, is introducing New Horizons for Children and Families. St. Matthews' Knights of Columbus will open their new Wedding and Reception Center Sunday, Oct 2nd at 9009 Bryant Farms Road, in the Ballantyne area of south Charlotte. THE ALLEGRO FOUNDATION is looking for people who have a talent of working with children with special needs — or would like to learn. The Allegro Foundation is a nonprofit organization that works with special needs children to develop motor skills, social skills, and problem-solving skills — while building their self-esteem and a sense of independence. Sessions are 30 minutes in the evening, and you can volunteer for as many or as few as your schedule allows. Training is provided.
