Do You Ever Think About?

Do you ever think about how Mary felt

As she first saw her newborn son?

Did she glow in that precious moment

Or think of trials to come?

Do you ever think about how Joseph felt

As he first spoke Jesus’ name?

Do you think he saw a young carpenter

Or a man who would heal the lame?

Do you ever think about how the shepherds felt

When they first heard angels sing?

Do you think they said, “What a special night!”

Or hailed their infant king?

Do you ever think about how the wisemen felt

As they followed the star lit glow?

Do you think they talked about their travels

Or all the places He would go?

Do you ever think about how you feel

When you hear the Christmas Story?

Do you keep it to yourself

Or share God’s grace and glory?

Make this Christmas a special time

With everything you do.

Tell each and everyone you meet

What Jesus did for you.
