Scouting Program

The Scouts Need YOU!!!
The St. John Neumann Tiger and Cub Scouts (grades 1-5) and Boy Scouts (grades 6-12) are geared up for lots of fun and adventure.   For more information, contact Mark Wahl at (704) 846-5287or  Mark Morris.

The St. John Neumann scouting program provides opportunities for boys ages in first-grade (or 7-year olds) thru 5th grade as well as boys 11 years old through 17 years old to join its two scouting programs:  Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. Boys 10 and under can join Pack 12 which meets Tuesday nights at St. John Neumann and boys 11 years old and older can join Troop 12 which meets Wednesday nights at the Columbus Swim Club.  Both programs are part of the Mecklenburg County BSA Council.  Cub Scout Pack 12 has over 60 active boys and 10 registered adults, with lots of help from parents.  Tuesday evenings they fill the Education Wing with many wonderful activities.   Troop 12 of the Boy Scouts, has 16 active scouts. They participate in many outdoor activities, including monthly camping trips. As always, the focus of the scouts is good values, citizenship and service, with lots of fun thrown in the mix.
