| Christian Formation St. Peters provides programs for adults and children to update and renew their faith. Children: Sacramental preparation programs are conducted each year for second graders for First Eucharist, sixth graders for Confirmation, and for third graders for the sacrament of Reconciliation. In all cases parents are involved in the process. Likewise, parents have a pre-Baptism class to attend before the Baptism of their child. Sandy Lauer (524-2572) as the Director of Religious Education coordinates these programs. Elementary and High School children in Public Schools attend SOR (School of Religion) on Sunday mornings. Clare Bazler (524-2572) coordinates. Adults: Renewal programs during lent include Time Out for Catholicism, an informal course on basic teachings of the church with Fr. Herb on Wednesday evenings during March; the weekend Parish Retreat on March 27-28; Matthew, Mark, Luke, and Lunch on Tuesdays 12:15-1:00 with guest speakers; and Christian Disciplines with Randy Giesige on Wednesdays 10:30-noon and again 6:30-8:00 p.m. RCIA is for those who are interested in joining the Catholic Church. Those expressing interest should contact Sr. Fran (524-2572). Marriage Preparation is on-going throughout the year.
