| Social Concerns There are three primary programs of the Social Concerns of St. Peters. St. Vincent de Paul provides a store for the needy as well as other forms of assistance. Members of the St. Vincent de Paul try to become acquainted with those who call for aid, visiting their homes when possible, providing a personal ministry. Feed the Needy involves many volunteers who provide meals Monday through Friday the first week of the month. Much of the food is donated. Working with team captains for each of the days, volunteers prepare and serve the food for up to two hundred persons. Helping Hands was designed to allow able parishioners to use their hands in labor to help those who need assistance around their house and have trouble affording payment. Putting in bathrooms fixing doors, and replacing windows are some of the chores the Helping Hands people have done. Pastoral Team liaison with these ministries is Fr. Dan Fraser (524-2572).
