CHURCH UNITY WEEK
It is a tradition in the Christian community to pray
for unity among the denominations during the Church
Unity Octave. Culminating on the feast of the
Conversion of St. Paul (January 25) the Church prays
that we might overcome the divisions and prejudices
that have divided us for centuries. Some claim we are
in an ecumenical winter, others see tremendous signs of
hope as families struggle in their everyday life to
seek religious unity in inter-faith marriages. We will
be having a major Lenten program on March 8 at 1:30 pm
with all the Union Road Church. We will focus on
"hope" as the message we need to bring to our Society.
Please pray for Christian unity this week.
