MEN'S CLUB COMMUNION BREAKFAST

We welcome the Men's Club to the 8 am mass this weekend as they celebrate their annual Communion Breakfast. All the ministries will be done by members of the Club at that mass. The guest speaker at their breakfast will be Fr. Tom Shaunessy, a Franciscan priest who frequently helps out in our parish. May God continue to bless your efforts to help our parish grow.

SOCIAL JUSTICE NEWS

In keeping with the goal of the Parish Council to make social justice an important part of community life, the Social Justice Committee will publish weekly in the bulletin excerpts from Church writings which we hope will be of interest to you and a help in developing greater social consciousness.
"Love for others and, in the first place, love for the poor in whom the Church sees Christ Himself, is made concrete in promotion of justice. Justice will never be fully attained unless people see in the poor person who is trying to survive not an annoyance or a burden, but an opportunity for greater enrichment. It is not merely a matter of giving from one's surplus, but of helping entire peoples presently marginalized to enter into the sphere of economic and human development."
