Archdiocesan Development Appeal

This past Sunday, 211 families claimed their ADA appeal cards in the classrooms across the hall from Church. The response was very gratifying. If you did not have the opportunity to claim your card, do so this week end. If your employer matches gifts bring an application with you. Credit cards are acceptable. Volunteers are still needed to make 5 calls each next Sunday, May 4. If you can assist in this endeavor, please call Lew Brennecke 892-3986.

First Communion

We are very happy to welcome the students from the Parish School & School of Religion to God's table. This is such a special day for them and their families. Banners on the side wall of the church were made by the first communicant families to celebrate the event. Please be sure to keep them in your prayers so that they will stay close to Jesus all their lives.

PERSONAL THANKS

I would like to thank all the parishioners for the notes, cards and remembrances that were given to me last weekend for Pastor's Appreciation Day. The statue of the Good Shepherd will be treasured by me as a special remembrance of sharing life together. You have touched me very deeply. Thank you for all you did.

MOTHER'S DAY CARDS

The Home & School Association is once again sponsoring the sale of Mother's Day Cards. Anyone wishing to enroll their mother/grandmother (whether they are living or deceased) in the novena of masses to be offered here at the parish, are asked to put their names on the envelope and return it with your offering in the collection basket. Give the card to your special loved one and know that they will be in our prayers. All donations will go to help fund projects for the school from the Home & School Association.

NEW PARENT KINDERGARTEN MEETING

Parents who will have a student in MPB Kindergarten next year will have a meeting on Wednesday, April 30 at 7:00 pm. We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you to our school community.

TIME & TALENT CATALOGUES

New listings of all the parishioners and their phone numbers have been published in the new Time & Talent Catalogue. They are available in the classrooms along with the Development Program Cards. Please pick-up your copy if you have not done so already. There is a sign-up sheet near the end of the book on page 40, giving you the opportunity to list the organizations you would like to participate in or are currently participating in. Please fill it out and drop it in the collection basket or at the rectory.
