School News

Beginning July 1 of each year we start the payments for the 1997-98 school year. Parents have asked us to base the tuition rate on a 52 week basis. Therefore the payments will begin this week for the 1997-98 school year. Please send your tuition payments in a separate envelope to the rectory or drop it in the collection basket. Do not put it in your regular Sunday offertory envelope. State law requires that we keep all tuition funds separate from Church offerings. We appreciate your cooperation in this regard.

Tuition Assistance

Any family needing financial assistance for the 1997-98 school year is asked to contact the rectory for financial aid application forms. No previous agreements carry over from last year. We are required to review these requests annually. Please file these requests immediately.

School Registration

School Registration for grades Kindergarten through 8th grade are being taken. Call Dr. Burgoon at 892-5349.

SCHOOL UNIFORM NEWS

QUOTE FROM THE CHURCH'S SOCIAL TEACHINGS

The injustice of certain situations cries out for God's attention. Lacking the bare necessities of life, whole nations are under the thumb of others; they cannot act on their own initiative; they cannot exercise personal responsibility; they cannot work towards a higher degree of cultural refinement or a greater participation in social and public life. They are sorely tempted to redress these insults to their human nature by violent means. Populorum Progression #30.

COLLECTION FOR WOMEN'S ABUSE SHELTER

Please bring items next weekend for the Women's Abuse Shelter. Needed items are mostly for babies which would include diapers, baby wipes, and any items for baby's or small children. Personal items for the Mom's could also be used. Your generosity will be appreciated.
