RCIA
MPB Parish has been blessed by God with new members
each year through the process called the Christian
Initiation of Adults. The RCIA is the way the church
welcomes new members. The RCIA is a journey of faith
which begins with the participants inquiring about the
Catholic Faith. If a continued interest exists the
participants continue on the journey of conversion
sharing and reflecting upon the scriptures and the
teachings of the Church. A team of men and women from
our parish meet with the prospective new members along
with Fr. Ryan and Sr. Rose. The weekly meetings
consists of prayer, sharing and reading the scripture
readings of the Sunday, presentation of catholic
doctrine and discussion. We meet on Sunday mornings at
9:30 am in the rectory. If you know of someone
interested in knowing more about our Catholic faith
invite him or her to come to our first meeting on
Sunday, October 5th at 9:30 am or send the person's
name to Fr. Ryan or Sr. Rose.
