FEAST OF THE HOLY FAMILY
Today we take the time to focus our attention on family
life as the root of Church and spirituality. God wants
to create family both here on earth and in eternity.
He wants us to be in committed relationships as
brothers and sisters, parents and children, and as
spouses. We create life in each other as the
self-giving of Christmas continues through the way we
live with each other. Take time today to reflect on
the gift that your family has been.
NEW YEAR'S MASSES
The mass on New Year's Eve will be at 5:00 pm and then
on New Year's Day they will be at 8:00 am and 10:00 am.
This is a great way to begin the New Year: praying for
God's guidance on all your endeavors. May God bless
all our efforts to grow in His Spirit during the coming
year. New Year's Day is a Holy Day of Obligation.
A Big "Thanks"
Fr. Ryan and Msgr. Forst want to thank so many of the
parishioners who have shared so much of themselves
during the Christmas season. The cards, cookies,
fruit, and various gifts are much appreciated. They
are real signs to us of your goodness.
FLOWER MEMORIALS
The Christmas decorations are in memory of many friends
and family members listed in the bulletin given out on
Christmas day. We do thank all the parishioners who
helped us with the expenses of the Christmas
decorations. A special word of thanks also goes to the
Liturgy Committee and many volunteers who worked so
hard last Sunday putting things together. There is a
real warmth to the atmosphere in our Church because it
was done with such care and in memory of so many.
RESTROOM REPAIR
The men's and women's restrooms on the first floor are
being made handicap accessible. We are also replacing
the partitions for each of the stalls. Please be
advised that all partitions are missing at the time.
Use the restrooms on the second floor for privacy.
This will only be for one weekend. Thank you for your
cooperation. We apologize for any inconvenience.

New Year's Resolution: Pray Daily
Coming Soon
Our New Lucky Six Club Raffle is about to begin. It is
very important that ALL Parish Families be a part
of it. A total of $1,500 in 5 prize awards for our

all families participating, we can make this parish
fund raiser a huge success. Remember - "Sell 8 in
`98".
SOCIAL JUSTICE THOUGHTS
Any person in danger who appears at a frontier has a
right to protection. It is not a simple concession
made to the refugee. He (she) is not an object of
assistance, but rather a subject of rights and duties.
Refugees, a Challenge to Solidarity!
Thanks
Thanks to all students and parents of Most Precious
Blood School for your generosity at Christmas. God
bless, Debbi.
