A School Rich in Tradition
Founded in 1882, Sacred Heart School is a kindergarten
through 12th grade Catholic school that nurtures the moral, spiritual, and academic
growth of each student. It is the only school in the Diocese of Jefferson City
that offers a sequential learning experience from kindergarten through high
school graduation. This safe and familiar environment builds a sense of security
and confidence in students which, in turn, enhances the learning experience.
Located in Sedalia, Missouri, Sacred Heart educates over four hundred students
annually in a sixcounty, predominantly agricultural region.
Sacred Heart provides a strong academic program that offers many opportunities
for involvement and leads students to develop high moral standards.
The committed leadership and staff, in cooperation with parents, present students
a respectful, secure family environment that lays the groundwork for productive,
Christian citizens who have a positive influence on their community today and
tomorrow.
To accomplish this mission, Sacred Heart teaches students to
- strive for academic excellence,
- respect the worth of all individuals,
- prepare for a changing world,
- recognize the importance of family
