St. Boniface School
Overview
St. Boniface, with 130 years of tradition, prepares its’ students for leadership and teamwork. The spirit of the school is carried forward in the dedication of the staff, the students and their parents. The students are asked to conduct themselves as examples of Christ’s Word…to love all and accept the differences of our world. St. Boniface is a school of values, one in which hard work and respect for others is rewarded.
Special Masses, liturgies and prayer services throughout the school year give testimony to the Catholic identity of St. Boniface School. The Mission of St. Boniface School is to provide a Catholic education, dedicated to the development of the whole child. To accomplish this mission we will:
ü
Help the student grow
spiritually, intellectually, physically, aesthetically, emotionally and
socially.
ü
Teach the good news of Christ and his message of love and service
to others.
ü Instill in our students, by word and example, Christian values.
St.
Boniface School is fully accredited by the Illinois State Board of
Education. Its principal and teachers
meet the State’s degree and certification standards. The school employs a full
time principal and nine full time teachers (Grades K-8), half of who have
master’s degrees. The school also
employs three part time certified teachers for physical education, band and
classroom music. Four teacher aides
assist the teaching staff.
