Queen of Peace has choirs serving each of the four weekend Masses.  There are always openings for new singers and instrumentalists.  Singers are NOT required to read music, nor are they expected to have Aprofessional@ voices. If you can carry a tune, you probably qualify, and are welcome! 

Instrumentalists should be competent with their instrument, and adept at sight reading. Rehearsal schedules vary from choir to choir, as do the style of music normally presented by each choir.

We also sponsor a children=s choir for both Christmas and Easter. The children=s choir rehearses on a weekly basis beginning about six weeks before each of these feast days.

Finally, we have a choir that sings at our funeral Masses.  This choir rehearses as required, usually just prior to the funeral Mass.
