Alberto Esposito was born in Brooklyn, NY, February 25, 1963. His parents, Louis and Anna, both have Italian ancestry: Louis' parents were born in Gragnano, Italy (near Naples), and Anna was born and raised in Naples, Italy.

In 1969, the Esposito family moved to central Florida, where Alberto began hi studies of the violin. After several years of private instruction, Alberto was awarded a scholarship for musical studies at the College-Conservatory of Music in Cincinnati. He later graduated with a Bachelor of Music Degree from this institution. Further studies were pursued at the Yale School of Music, under the artistic guidance of the distinguished violinist, Syoko Aki. Alberto received his Master's Degree from Yale in 1988.

At the completion of formal studies, Alberto worked as a freelance performer, teacher, and conductor in the New Haven area. In addition to these professional activities, he worked as a volunteer for the Little Sisters of the Poor (ministry with the aged), the Missionaries of Charity (ministry with the homeless and inner city children), and the Dominican Church of Saint Mary in New Haven, Connecticut (RCIA Team).

In 1995, Alberto followed the deepest movement of his heart and entered the seminary of Saint Vincent de Paul in Boynton Beach.
