The Queen of Peace Catholic Community wishes to support couples as they prepare for the Sacrament of Marriage through prayer and action. For this reason, guidelines have been established for marriage preparation, not to create obstacles, but to increase the opportunity of a lasting, loving marriage in a society where divorce is prevalent. These guidelines can be found in the Sacrament of Marriage brochure located on the literature rack in the Narthex.

In order for weddings to take place at Queen of Peace, it is important that the preparation guidelines be successfully completed in a timely fashion. Please contact Fr. Jeff at least six months prior to your anticipated wedding date ‑before making any commitments to reception halls caterers, and florist. If either of you has been married previously, contact Fr. Jeff at least one year prior to your anticipated wedding date.

In addition to meeting with Fr. Jeff, you will be asked to take FOCCUS, attend diocesan programs (registration is mandatory for these programs), and meet with a specially trained Sponsor Couple in the Parish.
