Mission

 As a TEAM, our mission is to call the Church in St. Louis to embrace the ministry of adult initiation as envisioned in the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (1998).  Our mission includes:

Goals:
•       facilitate formation of parish communities, teams, sponsors, clergy and catechists in the vision of the Rite;
•       identify current needs and develop furture possibilities;
•       plan Archdiocesan liturgies;
•       serve others in the Spirit of Jesus Christ as witnesses to ongoing conversion and healing.
Objectives:
•       review and update the Archdiocesan Guidelines for Implementation;
•       sponsor an annual conference and quarterly gatherings;
•       support and encourage the growth of parish cluster groupings and deanery networks as a way of empowering initiation ministers in the parish setting;
•       collaborate with the Office of Evangelization and the Office of Laity and Family Life in their efforts for evangelization and faith formation.
