| Pilgrims in my group walking up Apparition Hill. The terrain is quite a challenge. You can see the Church of St. James near the top of the photo in the background. Mary has asked for sacrifices in her messages - walking up the hill was certainly that. | |

| These two crosses mark where Mary has appeared to the visionaries on the hill. The second one is called Ivan's Cross. Ivan is one of the visionaries and sees Our Blessed Mother there regularly. A pilgrim sits at the foot of the Apparition site. | |

| Certainly the views from the hill are fantastic. Medugorje is so named becomes it means "Between the hills" in Croatian. | |
