RESPONSE THROUGH A DREAM

My mother and I were talking the other night and she was expressing her doubt about the Resurrection and Eternal Life, (as she does on occasion). Fired up by my recent Pilgrimage experience I tried to respond as well as I could. God, however, explained it to her in a more beautiful way. The following morning mum recounted a dream she had had during the night. As she told it to me I realised that it was an answer to her 'prayer' for faith in the Resurrection.

In the dream she was at church, coming out of a Mass which was being offered for the soul of my aunt, who passed away 9 months ago. Yet, my aunt was there dressed in a beautiful dress and happy, speaking to her son and my cousin, discussing his wedding next year. They were laughing. When she saw my mum she asked her where my grandmother was (deceased some years ago) to which mum replied, "Inside at the Mass".

Mum then found herself elsewhere and she met my grandfather (deceased in the eighties, who had had his leg amputated), and he was walking around asking mum if she could cook him some pasta with garlic. Mum then went outside and saw my sister leaning over the fence, speaking to my next door neighbor (deceased January this year) who was looking 'well'. My neighbor's daughters then came and were astounded to find their mother alive.

Mum was recounting the dream very vividly and when i explained what I thought God was telling her she didn't answer. I think she understood it well. (Mum has never had so many deceased relatives in the one dream).
