FEATURE ARTICLE ASSIGNMENT

You are to write a Feature Article, using all the conventions studied in class, on Sci-Tech and the Omni Theatre. In order to complete this properly , ensure , after you have completed your first draft that you answer yes to the following questions:

• used appropriate language for your target audience ?
• used a catchy headline and headlines ?
• used many different sources of information ?
• applied the facts and used quotes from your experience you and from all the class discussions ?
• written a present tense catchy introduction as learnt in class ?
• used emotive language to persuade your audience ?
• followed the form and graphics of a feature article ?
• made sure that your tone is familiar enough with the audience and that it reflects your purpose - to inform , promote etc. ?
• included different sections in your article ?
