SENTENCES, CONJUNCTIONS, HOMONYMS AND PUNCTUATION
1. The following 2 passages contain many errors. There are spelling errors as well as punctuation and grammatical errors. Speech marks must also be placed in their correct position. Rewrite the 2 passages below, in full,on your own sheet of paper, correcting all errors.

2. We usually don’t think in perfectly formed sentences. Instead, we have flashes of ideas. To share these ideas with others we must write them in sentences and follow the rules that govern written expression.
* Expand each of the following sets of flashes into 2 sentences, adding only conjunctions and other words.
* You may change the tense of the words.
For example if the flash of words is " woke up – green spots " , you may write " After having woken up , I discovered that I had green spots" The conjunction is " After" and the change in tense is from
"woke up " to " woken up ".
The sentences must make sense.

I didn’t know how to respond but I was becoming thoroughly annoyed. It was half-past four and here I was, still in my home, despite the fact that Carlisle had been waiting for me where he was supposed to meet me ; namely out in front of Forest Place.
Seeing that I would not be allowed to go easily, I yelled , " Mother, you think you know everything!"
