Mrs Peacock

You have known Betty for many years. A determined business woman, Betty has threatened Miss Scarlet’s father> Both he and Betty shared the same step-mother who left all her inheritance to Miss Scarlet’s father. Betty is now determined to buy his company out from under him and then make him redundant. You know this will destroy Miss Scarlet.

You found the note that Mrs Smith left, in your bedroom

You are very angry with Mrs Smith when you speak with her because you know that if she gets her way, both miss Scarlet and her father will suffer. You don’t want this to happen. You tell Miss Scarlet about this. In the afternoon you went out visiting and after dinner you went to your neighbours house while everyone else went on their walk.

You put the candelabra back in its place after you see it on the floor.

You think Miss Scarlet dit it but you say that Betty deserved it

Miss Scarlet

You are not the murderer . You feel a great hatred towards Betty Smith. Your father knew her very well . In fact, she was his step-sister. Your father’s step-mother has given him , instead of Betty , all her inheritance , making Betty very jeolous.

Betty has become very greedy and is making you aware that she is now a powerful business woman. Her intentions are to buy your father’s company out from under him and then to fire him. She wants you to know that he has a choice. Either he gives in to her now or he can look forward to a painful takeover. You are to be the messenger. Later, you confide in Colonel Mustard whom you have always treated like a father. Colonel Mustard knows about the situation.

You really do like the Italian pastries and that’s why you wanted to have them for breakfast.

After lunch you went out in the car to visit a friend in the city.

After dinner, you go to the conservatory for a while and then play a game in the Billird room. You notice while you are there that the Candelabra is left on the table.

You think Plum dit it or Colonel Mustard

Rev. Green

After dinner, you wish to miss out on the walk. You spend all your time in your room and only go out to get a cup of tea and then see the body on the floor. You go to pick up the knife because you see that the blood on the knife looks discoloured as if it was put there by the murderer by accident. It is more orange than red to a certain degree. Then , Mrs. White walks in and sees you.

you note also that the blood on the body is very dry, as if it has been dry for hours.

You really do just rest after dinner and you go to the kitchen because you are hungry again. That is when you see the body on the floor.

Professor Plum

You spend your day working in the laboratory. That’s where you were the whole day, while the others were out. The blood red , orange , green solutions are for an experiment you are working on.

The reason you avoid the walk after dinner, at first is truly because you are full. You hear Colonel Mustard say that he is going with Mrs. White but you don’t hear her answer back. You don’t know whether or not your solution is missing. You don’t particularly like Miss Smith.

Mrs White

You can’t sleep and so decide to stay up and bake some cookies. You have heard a conversation between Miss Scarlet and Miss Smith and Miss Scarlet was very upset.

After lunch the next day , while most the others are out , you decide to do some more shopping . When you return you find that Professor plum home. He has been in his laboratory he says and you find Colonel Mustard coming out of the Billird room almost shocked to see you. He said he had just returned from some hunting and was thinking about what he had caught when you startled him.

You do go out to the patisserie after dinner but Mustard doesn’t come with you. He is not in the house by the time you leave for the shop You don’t even know he wanted to . Rev. Green is in his room. He is the only one you saw still in the house when you left.. When you return, you find Betty dead on the floor. At the same time, Reverend Green is there holding the girl’s knife, looking suspicious.

Colonel Mustard

You are the murderer. The Candlestick holder is your murder weapon and your motive is a desire to protect Miss Scarlet from Betty. The murder is committed in the lounge room, during the afternoon when all the others are out. You hide her in the billiard room under the table and then write a note , supposedly from Betty, placing it in Miss Peacock’s room.

After dinner, while Rev. Green is cleaning up , and Professor Plum is resting, you tell the others you will go with Mrs White so that the others will think you have gone out as well. If someone in the audience asks why you didn’t go with Mrs White to the shop, say that it was because you kept on waiting for her after the otehrs had gone outside, but she was still in her room getting her bag. You got tired of waiting , changed your mind and decided to go for a walk as well.

Obviously, you were risking being caught when you drag Miss Smith into the kitchen and place Mrs. White’s carving knife in her hand. You get Plum’s coloured solution from his lab and pour it over the handle of the knife and some of it over the dried up blood. . You hate Plum and want to set him up with the murder. Then you walk out of the kitchen through the lounge and that is where Plum joins up with you on his way outside.

If people ask you where you were in the afternoon, you were out hunting and then came into the house only for a brief moment to play a game of Billiards. That is when you run into Mrs White on her return from the shops.
