I would like to thank you very much for your willingness to participate in the interview that Melanie is conducting with you as part of her formal assessment in Senior English.
I appreciate your valuable time and the generous sacrifice you have made . I am certain that Melanie will benefit tremendously from the opportunity to speak with you and I am very grateful that you have taken such an interest in the education of students in the ________Community, of which Melanie is a part.
As you may or may not be aware, this interview is a very important part of Melanies assessment for this term. Since it is very difficult to monitor some aspects of the interview without being present myself, it would aid my assessment of Melanies achievements if the following assessment form were completed by you after the completion of the interview.
The form need not be given directly to Melanie. Melanie will provide you with a self-addressed stamped envelope for your convenience, in the event that you would prefer to send the form directly to me at ______ College. If this arrangement is suitable for you I would only ask that you submit the form within a week of the interview.
Your support in Melanies assessment is greatly appreciated and will provide me with the necessary information to ensure that Melanies experience in the real world is fruitful.
