A letter to Mr. Watson
Dear Mr. Watson
Thank you for your recent reply to my letter. Ms. Warnock also
replied and I have today forwarded another letter to her. I would
be grateful if you could take the time to read this letter and I
request that you also respond to the very serious questions posed
to Ms. Warnock and also the following.
You state in your letter that
- a woman has the right to control her own body
- termination of a pregnancy is a private matter left to
the woman and the doctor
My questions to you are:
- What gives the woman the right to control the destiny of
her child's body? Scientifically, it is well known that
the child is another body with its own brain functions
and heartbeat and only is supported by the nutrients of
the mother.
- What about the right of the father and the right of the
child?
- Doctors swear to dedicate their lives to saving lives not
to "terminating" them
- Since when do doctors decide the fate of a child that the
doctor has had nothing to do with conceiving?
- Even "safe', legal abortions have resulted in
emotional, physical scarring for many women, as well as
death in some cases. (This is well documented and I could
supply you with this information if you so desired.) Isn't
this the same result as "backyard abortions?"
Women do not have to go through with a "backyard
abortion" if they do not want to. Rendering abortion
illegal will only encourage women to seek assistance for
a trouble pregnancy in another way, with our help, rather
than risk their own death.
Thank you very much .
Kind regards
