Below, a moving painting of Veronica's Reaction to the Imprint of Jesus' Sacred Face on the way to Calvary. It comes from a church at New Norcia in Western Australia. I had never considered this part of the "Veil" Story until seeing this painting. Here Veronica weeps with awe, wonder, joy and the immense sadness this brings as she acknowledges that the same Jesus who performs this miracle is also allowing himself to be crucified..
