It is the joy of every teacher to read some of their students' work - especially when the responses are not what one expects. Below is a collection of student quotes. it is intended that this list continues to grow.

Q. What is style?
Response - "Looking good"
The following are responses to Reflection Journal Questions. These questions are meant to enable students to deepen their reflection of texts studied, as well as to develop their metacognition in English class. Many of the questions are therefore open ended to ensure this. Some students however, have other concerns when they are asked to reflect on their work.

| "I find trying to do my journal with a sore hand difficult because I can't write easily and if I bend my hand in the wrong direction it hurts" - I replied, "I hope it is much better" |
