Guardianship of Person is provided for low-income elderly individuals deemed
by the court to be incompetent.

Pre-school programs called Self-Start are offered to 3 and 4 year olds from
low-income families.

Licensed Day care homes for young children at risk whose parents work or
are in school.

Foster Care - During 1997, Catholic Charities worked with 94 children in
foster care who were placed in 59 licensed homes.

They have a visiting house at 273 W. Prairie, which allows the children in
care to visit their natural parents in a home-like atmosphere.
