Planned GivingWe recognize that many people may want to help their parish, Catholic school, or diocese and express their gratitude to God for a lifetime of blessings, but simply do not know how to do it. Or they may be unaware of the different ways to structure their gift so that they can save on taxes, or receive regular income during their lifetime, or both. The Office of Planned Giving exists to provide information to Catholics regarding the many ways that gifts may be made to support the parishes and ministries of the Catholic Church in southern Missouri. It is the responsibility of the Director of Planned Giving to provide charitable giving information and to assist Catholics who desire to make such planned gifts. The objective is to achieve the donor's charitable intentions while maximizing benefits available to the donor under federal and state tax laws.
