Handicapables was founded in 1968 to provide a way for the handicapped and elderly to go to a Catholic Church. Our service area is Santa Clara County, California, USA. Our free service picks up our members in a wheelchair lift equipped van, the first Saturday of every month, except August. We go to a different church every month,where the father does mass just for our group. After mass we all have lunch before returning home. Christen Charities of San Jose, California, USA is our funding source. A $ 5.00 donation is suggested but not needed to be a member. Our Address is 2400 Enborg Lane, #9,San Jose,CA,USA,95128.

With our churches not required by law to be accessible to the disabled more of our type of service is needed. Start your own Church groupor get your church to start a van service.
