Prayer Circle

yeah, I know it's a cliche. but, hey, you recognized it, right? you knew what we would be talking about, right? and after 450 years, it's still an amazing image.

This web site has grown and changed considerably in the couple of years I have been working on it. It started as a simple collection of traditional prayers, and they are all still here. Before I began writing snippets about the saints, I added hundreds more prayers on many topics - standards, writings by saints, prayers for the help of saints, cries to God on many topics.

The original form of the site also included an email prayer circle. People willing to pray for others sent me their email addresses; people needing prayers sent their needs; I forwarded the requests to the volunteers.

Due to hardware crashes, and an ISP meltdown, I was forced to discontinue the circle. By the time things were running again, I was spending my hoobbyist computer time writing about the beati, and did not resume the circle.

I've decided to re-activate that part of the site, and I want to make that good and gentle ministry available to site visitors. If you're willing to respond to prayer requests, please let me know. I've started putting "prayer request" links on the site pages; the rest will follow.

Note #1: I am NOT collecting email addresses for any other reason; I won't give/sell/loan/etc them to anyone else, I won't send you junk mail, no ads - none of that. This is strictly prayer circle related.

Note #2: When I did this last time, I got LOTS of requests, and the site gets a LOT more visitors now than before, so this may be a larger deal that you'd think. And some of the requests were absolutely *heart-breaking*. Be warned.

If you're interested, email me at this address: prayers@saints.every1.net.

Thanks for your time. And for coming by the site.
